Hide a Panel Column

Steps
Collapsing a Panel column gives the page content the full width of the window, for every page you open in that browser.
- Move the mouse pointer onto the Panel column, until the toggle button appears at its top.

- Click the toggle button.
- The column is collapsed and the button stays in place, so the same click brings the column back, as follows:

FAQ
Does hiding a column hide it for everybody?
No. The choice is yours alone and lives in your browser. Removing a column for all readers is an administrator's job, described in Select the Panel Columns Displayed.
Why did the column lose the width I had set?
Collapsing a column clears its stored width on purpose, which is the quickest way back to the default.
