Explanation
The Markdown Syntax extensions, starting with CommonMark Markdown Syntax 1.2, let users write wiki pages in Markdown.
To make Markdown available to users, install and enable the Markdown syntax. If the wiki has pages written in the older Markdown 1.0 or 1.1 syntaxes, migrate them to Markdown 1.2.
