XWiki 16.3.0 Release Candidate 1 Released
The XWiki development team is proud to announce the availability of XWiki 16.3.0 RC1. It is now possible to allow users to write a summary when uploading attachments from the attachments pane (this feature is not enabled by default). Notifications custom filters can now be filtered and sorted. Finally, the user and group administration tables are now migrated to Live Data. This release also comes with many smaller usability and performance improvements, in addition to the usual bug fixes. See the release notes for more information. …

MyXWiki.org upgraded to 16.2.0
myxwiki.org has been upgraded to XWiki 16.2.0. If you own a wiki hosted there, you should have a look at the release notes for this version. You should automatically get an upgrade wizard for your wiki when you login as admin. For more details, see the upgrade guide. …

New Maven SNAPSHOT repository
To reduce the pressure on the main http://nexus.xwiki.org and have better response time for the CI, we decided to move Maven SNAPSHOT artifacts to their own Nexus instance on https://nexus-snapshots.xwiki.org. It's also the occasion for us to get more familiar with Nexus 3 before migrating nexus.xwiki.org. The main impact for you in practice is that you should change the snapshot repository you have in your Maven /.m2/settings.xml so that Maven download SNAPSHOT artifacts from the right server. Diagram Application 1.3 Released
The Diagram Application 1.3 has been released. This extension is not supported by the XWiki developers. It's being released since it had some bugfixes since 2017 that had not been released. It's recommended to use the Diagram Application (Pro) which offers new features (draw.io upgrade, SVG-based PDF export, better link management and Gliffy diagrams support) and bug fixes including blocker issue Can't import a diagram and more. …
