The XWiki development team is pleased to announce the release of XWiki Enterprise 1.7 RC 1. This is the first release candidate for the 1.7 version.

Changes from 1.7M3:

• Link feature implemented in the new WYSIWYG editor (link to wiki page, web page, email).
• Work in progress on the new experimental WYSIWYG editor.
• Work in progress on the new XWiki ...

The XWiki development team will be present at Devoxx 2008. We have a booth there, shared with OW2. Come and say hello to us!

We'll be demonstrating the new rendering, the new WYSIWYG, the new WebDAV support and more.

Second milestone of the XWiki Enterprise 1.7 version.

Main changes:

This release is based on XWiki Enterprise 1.6.1 and contains some improvements on information panels.

This is a bug fix release. It fix an important regression of LDAP authenticator.
