Edit a User's Profile

Steps
An administrator can correct or complete the profile information of any user account, a wrong email address for instance. To edit a user's profile:
- Open the profile of the user you want to edit, by viewing all users on the wiki and clicking their name.
- Click the Edit pencil icon next to "Personal Information".
- Update the fields you want to change.
- Save your changes using the Common Edit Actions.
- Notice that the profile displays the information you entered.
FAQ
Why is there no Edit pencil on a user's profile?
The pencil is displayed only to users holding the Edit right on that profile Page.
Which fields does the form show?
The ones the wiki's "User Profile" administration section lists, which Customize the User Profile Tab changes.
Can I edit a user's preferences as well?
Yes. The "Preferences" category of their profile carries its own Edit pencil icon, which opens the same kind of form.
Is there a shorter route from the Administration?
Yes. The "Edit" action of the users list, in "Users & Rights" > "Users", opens the account's main information in a dialog box.
