Steps
Grant or deny a right on a single page, or on a page and everything below it, overriding the rules set on the wiki as described in Rights Resolution.
- Administer the Page.
- Select "Users & Rights", and then "Rights: Page & Children" to cover the page and its children, or "Rights: Page" to cover this page alone.
- Select the "Groups" or the "Users" tab, depending on whom the right is for, then click the check box where the group or user meets the right: once to allow it, twice to deny it, and a third time to clear it and fall back to the default value.
- Check that the right shows as allowed or denied on the page.

What is the difference between "Rights: Page & Children" and "Rights: Page"?
"Rights: Page & Children" applies to the page and to every page below it, while "Rights: Page" applies to that page alone and lets its children keep inheriting from above.
How do I set the rights of a terminal page?
A terminal page has no administration of its own, so open its "Edit" menu and choose "Access Rights", which is offered to advanced users.
Can a user create pages if "Edit" is denied on the whole wiki?
Yes: creating a page requires "Edit" on the space that will contain it, so allowing "Edit" through "Rights: Page & Children" lets a user create pages there.
