XWiki 18.7.0+ The link modal of the BlockNote editor offers the following fields. Which of them are shown depends on the selected link type.

|---|---|---|
| Display text | All | The label shown in place of the link. Generated from the target when left empty. |
| Link type | All | The kind of target: "URL", "Page", "Attachment" or "E-mail". |
| URL | URL | The address to link to. |
| Page reference | Page | The reference of the target Page, picked from the suggestions. |
| Attachment reference | Attachment | The reference of the target Attachment, picked from the suggestions. |
| E-mail address | The address to send the message to. |
The "Options" group is collapsed by default and always offers "Open in a new tab". The rest of its content depends on the link type:

| Anchor | Page | The identifier of a section of the target Page. |
| Message subject | The subject line of the message. | |

FAQ
What happens if I change the link type of an existing link?
The fields of the previous type are replaced by those of the new type, and the link points at the new target once you submit the modal.
