Steps
The "Panel List" tab fills each visible column with Panels and fixes the order they appear in, for the pages covered by the configuration you are editing.
- Open the Panel Wizard and select the "Panel List" tab.

- Expand the category holding the Panel you want: "Information", "Navigation", "Tools", "Administration" or "Other".
- Drag the Panel from the list onto the left or the right column, dropping it where you want it to appear.

- Drag a Panel back onto the list to remove it, or up and down inside a column to reorder it.
- Click "Save".
- The columns hold the Panels in the order you arranged them, as follows:

FAQ
Can I type the list instead of dragging it?
Yes. The "Page Layout" tab has a "Panels displayed on the left" and a "Panels displayed on the right" field, each a comma-separated list of Panel page references such as Panels.Navigation, Panels.QuickLinks.
A Panel I added renders nothing. Why?
Panels whose type is edit appear only while a page is being edited, and any Panel is skipped for readers who may not view its page. Panel Properties lists the types.
Where do the categories come from?
From each Panel's "Category" property, so a Panel you create appears under the category you gave it.
