How to fix "Unknown macro", "macro is not in the list of registered macros"?

A user logs in and tries to use the spaceindex macro in one page, but he gets the following error:

The spaceindex macro is not in the list of registered macros. Verify the spelling or contact your administrator.

What can be done in order to correct the problem is:

• log in as admin and edit in object mode the page that contains the macro definition (using "Ctrl+g" on your keyboard, navigate to XWikiSyntaxMacrosList or see another helpful FAQ regarding how to reach macro home page)
• check the value of the Macro visibility property
• if the value of the property is Current User put instead Current Wiki
