Steps
To copy a Page:
- View the Page you want to copy.
- Click on the "More Actions" menu.
- Select "Copy" from the "Manage" section.

- Configure the copy Page wizard. You can:

- Decide whether to preserve child Pages. Copying child Pages allows you to replicate an entire hierarchy of Pages.
- Specify a new title for the copy.
- Choose a new location for the copied Page. If you don’t specify a new location, the copy will overwrite the existing Page and its content will be lost.
- If the Page is translated into multiple languages, you can select which translation(s) to copy or choose to copy all translations.
- Click “Copy” to copy the Page with your chosen settings, or “Cancel” to stop the operation.
FAQ
How is the Page copy performed?
The copy is an interactive operation performed asynchronously.
Why don’t I see a progress bar when copying a Page?
If another job is currently being performed on the Pages you selected, you might see an information box instead of a progress bar. This indicates that your copy operation is waiting for the other job to finish. Page Tree Operation Locks prevent multiple long-running operations from being executed on the same Pages simultaneously.

Why am I asked to wait for link indexing when copying a Page?
Link indexing is still running, the system is discovering and recording all internal links to ensure that references are updated correctly.
