Cristal 1.2.0 Release Candidate 1 Released

Cristal 1.2.0RC1 is now released. This release includes accessibility improvements. In addition, the XWiki backend now depends on XWiki 18.2.0RC1+, where new REST endpoints are available, allowing the XWiki backend to work only with standard XWiki APIs. See the release notes for more details.

XWiki 18.2.0 Release Candidate 1 Released

The XWiki development team is proud to announce the availability of XWiki 18.2.0RC1. This release improves the suggestion of mentioned users. It introduces Debian packages based on tomcat11, for distributions providing it. Developers will benefit from new REST APIs for users and page rendering, improvements to icon and document related JavaScript APIs, and architectural improvements to the flamingo skin and the live data module. This release contains security fixes, with the highest severity being 8.7/10. See the release notes for more information.

LLM Extension 0.8 released

The LLM Extension 0.8 has been released. In this version, we've added REST APIs and an MCP server that allow integrating the context search of the index for the LLM application into other systems. With this, you can ask questions about the indexed content in any AI agent that supports MCP servers. This release only supports XWiki 17.4.4 and higher due to the MCP server implementation.

MyXWiki.org upgraded to 18.1.0

myxwiki.org has been upgraded to XWiki 18.1.0. If you own a wiki hosted there, you should have a look at the release notes for this version. Your wiki might not yet be fully upgraded, but it will eventually be, automatically in the background. It should still be usable in the meantime (some new features and improvements listed in the release note might just not yet be visible), but page save might be slower than usual while the upgrades are running.
