Steps
To get started with XWiki:
- Learn about wikis and XWiki.
- Understand what makes XWiki a second generation wiki.
- Try XWiki online, or download and install your own instance.
- Create your first Page.
- Your wiki opens on its Home page, from where you navigate, create and manage your content, as follows:

How can I organize my content in my wiki?
Content is organized as a hierarchy of nested Pages, which you can rearrange at any time by moving or renaming a Page. See content organization for the full picture.
Do I need to install anything to try XWiki?
No, you can use a hosted XWiki straight away. Installing your own instance is only needed when you want to run and keep your own wiki.
