Tout comme les serveurs d'app offrent des services techniques aux applications hébergées, une plate-forme de wiki offre des services de plus haut niveau tels gestion de contenu, moteur de rendu, stockage, éditeur WYSIWYG, gestion des utilisateurs et beaucoup plus.
