Question How do I modify the look and feel of the google ad
Answer It is allowed to modify the look and feel of the google Ad as long as you still include it at a visible place in your page without any scrolling.

To modify the look and feel of the ad, you need to create a skin and override the ad.vm template:

http://www.xwiki.com/xwiki/skins/modern/ad.vm

and change the place where this template is called. Currently the ad.vm template is called from the header.vm template:

Is it possible to change the style of the ad too?

if so, can you post the replacement code for the over-rided ad.vm?

id like to put your ad at the top of my left or right bar.

If i may, you could upload different ad.vm files with the code for the different banners in them, id gladly put a longer ad in my right or left toobar.
