XWiki took part in the first edition of Open Source Camp (www.oscamp.eu), hosted at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University, in Iasi, Romania.

Speaking for XWiki was Eduard Moraru with the presentation "XWiki's Development Process". The presentation aimed at offering an overview of the process, people and infrastructure behind the development of the XWiki open source project.

The first day of the event was focused on cloud technologies and Python (mostly OpenStack and a bit of Docker), while the second day had a broader approach, covering topics such as BSD, Google Summer of Code, Linked Open Data, Qt, Arduino, Rep-Rap and, of course, XWiki.

This was one of the largest Open Source events in this part of the country, 2 years after a similar one where XWiki participated as well. We hope to see this become a tradition to nurture the Open Source spirit in the local IT tech industry.
